F.O.G.H.A.T. 2006: Rock and/or Roll

The Basics

F.O.G.H.A.T. is a trash (popular culture and sports) quizbowl tournament created by Jeremy White.  The 2006 edition will take place on October 14, 2006 at the Northwestern University campus in Evanston, Illinois.

 

F.O.G.H.A.T. is an open tournament.  Anyone is eligible to play (unless you are on the writing staff).  To enter, send an e-mail to tournament director, Jeremy White.

 

Like past F.O.G.H.A.T.s, teams entering do not need to submit a packet.  The questions will be written by F.O.G.H.A.T.’s executive producers, Jeremy White and Ben Lea, as well as Brian Hight, Mark Richey and a few celebrity guests.

Prizes

The champion of F.O.G.H.A.T. will win a Fog Hat and other prizes.  Trashy prizes are guaranteed to the top five teams, the top ten individual scorers and the top punt returning team.

Tournament Costs

Base fee:  $80

 

Possible Discounts

  • $10 for a buzzer set
  • $15 for a moderator or tournament staff for the full tournament
  • Only one of each of the above discounts per team
